We don't make any money on our retreats (other than those that are noted as fundraisers).

So there are only two ways we fund the vision of Barnabas Network - a small membership fee, and financial partners (most of whom are also members).

Yes! Like everything we do at Barnabas, thanks to the generosity of our partners, there's always a way to be sponsored.

Also, most of our retreats have scholarships available to cover the registration cost too!

People have asked us if we have speakers or sessions at our retreats. The answer is no. 

Most of us already have plenty of conference and coaching spaces. These retreats are intended to get you out of work mode and refresh your soul.

So about as "programmed" as we get is to have an intentional, open conversation over dinner most nights that's an opportunity to take steps towards soul care and mental health.

You might have noticed our Founder, Paul, likes to hunt and has organized some retreats for hunters. We realize that's not everyone's thing. 

So we have a bunch of trips that don't involve hunting - and a ton of activities to enjoy.

In fact, by next year we'll also be adding new retreats including a snow trip, a missions trip to Asia, a golf tournament, and hopefully an Israel experience.

We love coaching and it's helping a ton of guys grow in their leadership. There are two main ways in which Barnabas is different (and why you might benefit from both).

Firstly, coaching networks are typically focused on helping you grow your organization and improve your results. Barnabas is focused on helping you grow yourself and lead from personal strength (which we believe leads to the other stuff too).

Secondly, most coaching organizations have a fairly structured approach, but Barnabas Network is more informal and relational. 

Barnabas network is an ecosystem, it is not prescriptive or programmatic. 

We believe we have two responsibilities when it comes to creating community within the network. 

The first is that we create opportunities for real friendship among leaders. We curate experiences, extend invitations and bring great people together. What you do with that is up to you and the Holy Spirit, but we've seen lots of guys make friends for life at retreats.

The second thing we do is we have a growing team of volunteer shepherds who commit to praying for you by name every week and checking in with you personally every month. That care and prayer is a regular reminder that you've got people in your corner.
